About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our CBSE-affiliated school. The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging visual content for school events, academic activities, social media, newsletters, advertisements, presentations, and other communication materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Design creative posters, banners, brochures, flyers, invitations, certificates, and other school-related materials.
- Create engaging graphics and visual content for the school’s social media platforms.
- Design creatives for school events, competitions, celebrations, admissions, and academic programs.
- Develop presentations, newsletters, annual reports, and other institutional communication materials.
- Maintain consistency in the school's branding, colors, fonts, and visual identity.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, management, and the admissions/marketing team to understand design requirements.
- Edit photographs and videos when required for school promotions and events.
- Create content for digital displays, website updates, WhatsApp communications, and other digital platforms.
- Handle multiple design assignments and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Ensure all designs are professional, age-appropriate, accurate, and aligned with the school's values.
- Maintain an organized library of editable design files and creative assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma/Certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in graphic designing; experience in a school or educational organization will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Canva, or similar design tools.
- Basic knowledge of video editing and motion graphics will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of typography, color combinations, layouts, and visual composition.
- Good communication skills and the ability to understand creative briefs.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
