Machine Operator
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery involved in Coconut Deshelling, Coconut Milk Extraction, Filtration, DC Powder (LFDC & HFDC), Evaporation, Drying, and Packaging. The operator ensures smooth machine operation, consistent product quality, safety compliance, and optimal production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
A. Machine Operation
- Operate assigned machines such as:
- Coconut Deshelling
- Coconut milk extractor
- Evaporator
- Dryer
- Powder shifter & blender
- Filling & Retort
- Packing machines
- Start-up, shutdown, and operate machines as per SOP.
- Set process parameters and check machine performance.
B. Process Monitoring
- Continuously monitor temperature, pressure, flow rate, and drying conditions.
- Ensure adherence to CCPs and CPPs.
- Record hourly production parameters.
- Identify abnormalities and inform supervisors immediately.
C. Quality Compliance
- Ensure materials are processed as per quality standards.
- Support QC team for sampling and in-process checks.
- Avoid contamination, mix-ups, and deviations.
- Reject and report any off-quality product.
D. Hygiene & Safety
- Follow GMP, HACCP & personal hygiene rules.
- Maintain machine cleanliness before, during, and after production.
- Support CIP & SIP activities.
- Follow safety procedures while handling hot surfaces, pressure systems, and moving parts.
E. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Inform Maintenance team immediately for breakdowns.
- Maintain machine in good working condition.
F. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain log sheets, machine parameters, downtime records, and material usage.
- Ensure proper batch tagging, line clearance, and cleaning records.
- Report daily output and issues to Production Executive.
Qualification & Experience
- SSLC / ITI / Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Food Technology preferred).
- 3 years’ experience as machine operator in food/beverage industry.
- Ability to read gauges, follow SOPs, and understand process parameters.
- Knowledge of coconut milk extraction, Dryer is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
