Education: 12th/ Graduation
Experience: 10–12 years in procurement, with at least 5-7 years in a supervisory role (preferably in hotel industry)
Location: Rewari (Haryana)
Job Summary:
Purchase Supervisor is responsible for managing procurement activities of the hotel, ensuring timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining cost control and compliance with organizational policies. The role includes vendor management, inventory coordination, documentation, and supporting smooth operations of all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement of goods and services for all departments including F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality supply at competitive rates.
- Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and follow-up for delivery of materials.
- Verify invoices with purchase orders, delivery challans, and agreed rates.
- Maintain proper documentation of all purchase transactions for audit and compliance purposes.
- Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the store department to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Conduct regular stock checks and ensure proper inventory control procedures are followed.
- Ensure all purchased materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand their requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Track market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize procurement expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements including GST.
- Maintain vendor database and evaluate supplier performance on a regular basis.
- Handle discrepancies related to quality, quantity, or delivery timelines and resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare purchase reports, stock reports, and other MIS as required by management.
- Ensure proper maintenance of records and documents as per organizational requirements.
- Support annual budgeting process related to procurement and cost planning.
Key Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory control and purchase procedures.
- Basic understanding of GST and invoice verification.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or inventory management systems.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
