Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable PGT Chemistry Teacher to teach senior secondary classes (Grades XI & XII). The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Chemistry lessons, preparing students for board examinations and competitive exams, conducting laboratory activities, and fostering scientific thinking among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to students of Classes XI and XII in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessment materials.
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions while ensuring safety standards are maintained.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and practical examinations.
- Guide students in board examination preparation and academic improvement.
- Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic progress, and assessment results.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide regular feedback on student performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to enhance academic standards.
- Organize and support science-related activities, exhibitions, and competitions.
- Stay updated with developments in Chemistry education and teaching methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of senior secondary Chemistry curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into lessons.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong conceptual knowledge of Chemistry.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Laboratory management and practical demonstration skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
