About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our team. You will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring smooth deployments, and driving DevOps best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead application deployments and environment setup
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Manage and monitor Linux servers for performance and security
- Work with cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP) to build scalable solutions
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker & Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform/Ansible
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Collaborate with developers to ensure reliable and secure releases
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture
Required Skills
- Strong Linux/Unix administration
- Git & version control strategies (branching, GitOps)
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Docker & Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
- Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP (hands-on experience)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Scripting: Bash, Python, Go (automation & tooling)
- Web servers & networking: Nginx, Apache, SSL/TLS, DNS, firewalls, load balancers
- Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Deployment expertise: zero-downtime strategies (blue-green, canary), rollback mechanisms
- DevSecOps practices: integrating security into pipelines
- Disaster recovery & high availability strategies
Good to Have
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Knowledge of cost optimization in cloud environments
- Experience with incident response and root cause analysis
