Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commi 1 specializing in Continental Cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Continental food preparation, good kitchen discipline, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist in Continental dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen section at all times.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and mise en place.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth service operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Continental cuisine.
- Good knowledge of sauces, grills, pastas, steaks, and European cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
