Job Summary
We are looking for a high-energy, result-driven Telesales Team Leader to oversee and guide our team of telesales executives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving daily sales targets, coaching agents on pitch and objection handling, and monitoring call quality. The ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership abilities, a proven track record in phone sales, and a passion for turning targets into achievements.
Responsibilities
1. Team Management & Performance Monitoring
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets to ensure the team hits its collective revenue goals.
- Monitor live calls (barge-ins) and recorded sessions to audit quality, compliance, and pitch effectiveness.
- Conduct daily morning huddles and briefings to align the team on expectations, data allocation, and focus areas.
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) including conversion rates, talk time, wrap-up time, and lead-to-close ratios.
- Manage team operational logistics, including daily attendance, shift rosters, and roster compliance.
2. Coaching & Agent Development
- Provide routine 1-on-1 feedback sessions to address skill gaps and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Conduct hands-on objection handling workshops to help agents confidently counter customer rejections.
- Onboard and mentor new hires, shortening their ramp-up time to achieve solo productivity.
- Design mock call sessions and continuously update scripts alongside management to counter evolving market conditions.
3. Strategy & Data Administration
- Efficiently distribute dialer data and calling lists among agents based on their core performance strengths.
- Analyze campaign performance and share actionable daily/weekly data reports with senior management.
- Intervene in complex or high-value escalations to secure closures and handle customer grievances.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in a telesales/inside sales role, with at least 1+ years of experience actively handling a team on paper.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Leadership: Proven ability to motivate individuals in a high-pressure, target-driven work environment.
- Analytical: Decent expertise in MS Excel/Google Sheets for updating and evaluating operational tracker files.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
