Qualification: M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology / Child Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counselling Psychology
Job Summary:
The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological and developmental screening programmes in schools under the Foundation initiative. The role includes assessing students, identifying behavioural, emotional, developmental, and learning concerns, and coordinating with schools, parents, and internal teams for timely interventions and awareness activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and behavioural screening assessments for school children.
- Identify emotional, developmental, learning, and behavioural concerns in students.
- Perform age-appropriate developmental and mental health screening activities.
- Maintain student assessment records and confidential documentation.
- Prepare screening reports and submit findings to the Foundation team.
- Coordinate with school management regarding programme schedules and implementation.
- Counsel students when required and provide guidance referrals.
- Conduct awareness sessions for students, teachers, and parents on mental health and child wellbeing.
- Support intervention planning and follow-up activities.
- Travel to schools as per programme requirements.

- Strong understanding of child psychology and developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication and counselling skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and school staff.
- Good observation, documentation, and report-writing skills.
- Empathy, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of psychological screening tools and assessments.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in school screening programmes/community outreach activities.
- Ability to travel for school visits.
- Knowledge of child behavioural assessment tools and educational psychology.
