Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Educational Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing suitable academic programs and career paths. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counselling, and relationship-building skills to support students throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding educational courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, emails, and messages.
- Convert student inquiries into successful admissions by providing accurate and timely information.
- Explain course details, fees, eligibility criteria, and enrollment procedures.
- Maintain and update student records and counselling reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Address student queries professionally and provide end-to-end admission support.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.
- Good convincing and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA or relevant qualification preferred).
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in educational counselling, admissions, telesales, or customer support is an added advantage.
