About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Executive who has strong knowledge of social media platforms, content publishing, scheduling, and social media automation tools.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing multiple social media accounts, planning and scheduling content, using automation tools, monitoring performance, and keeping up with the latest platform features and trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
- Plan, schedule, publish, and manage content across multiple platforms.
- Use social media scheduling and automation tools to streamline content publishing and social media workflows.
- Create and maintain monthly and weekly content calendars.
- Schedule posts, Reels, videos, stories, carousels, and other content formats.
- Understand the different posting requirements, formats, dimensions, and best practices of each social media platform.
- Repurpose content appropriately for different platforms.
- Manage multiple social media accounts and ensure content is published on time.
- Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, notifications, and audience engagement.
- Track post performance, reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth.
- Prepare basic social media performance reports.
- Research trending topics, hashtags, content formats, and platform trends.
- Monitor competitors and identify new content opportunities.
- Stay updated with changes in social media algorithms and platform features.
- Coordinate with the content, design, and video teams to ensure content is ready for scheduled publishing.
- Maintain organized content libraries, publishing schedules, and social media assets.
- Identify opportunities to improve posting frequency, engagement, and overall social media growth.
Social Media Automation Skills
The candidate should have practical knowledge of social media automation and scheduling tools, such as:
- Meta Business Suite
- Buffer
- Hootsuite
- Later
- Metricool
- Sprout Social
- SocialPilot
- Zapier or similar automation platforms
- Other social media scheduling and automation tools
Experience with AI-powered social media tools and automation workflows will be an added advantage.
Required Platform Knowledge
The candidate should have a good working knowledge of:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- YouTube
- X (Twitter)
- Pinterest
- Threads and other emerging platforms
They should understand how, when, and where to publish different types of content on each platform.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong practical knowledge of multiple social media platforms.
- Experience with social media scheduling and automation tools.
- Good understanding of content calendars and publishing workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and platforms simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and insights.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage scheduled content independently.
- Strong interest in social media, AI tools, automation, and digital trends.
- Knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar tools is a plus.
- Experience with AI content creation tools is an added advantage.
