Title: Field Research Intern (Mumbai – Tourist Interviews)

Location: Mumbai (Gateway of India, Colaba, Fort, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport – public areas only, major tourist attractions, hotels, and cafés)
Duration: 2–3 Weeks
Stipend: ₹8,000 – ₹14,000 + Performance Incentives
About the Role
We are an Australia–India startup developing a payment app for Australian tourists visiting India. We are looking for enthusiastic field research interns to conduct short interviews with international tourists and help us better understand their travel and payment experiences.
Responsibilities
- Visit popular tourist locations across Mumbai.
- Approach Australian and other international tourists professionally.
- Conduct short interviews (5–10 minutes).
- Record responses using a mobile phone or survey form.
- Submit daily interview reports and insights.
- Maintain a friendly, respectful, and professional approach throughout the research.
Requirements
- Fluent in spoken English.
- Confident and comfortable speaking with strangers.
- Outgoing personality with good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Previous research or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required.
