Job Title: Café Captain
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily café floor operations and ensure smooth service flow
- Lead and manage service staff (stewards/baristas) during shifts
- Ensure high standards of guest service, hospitality, and customer satisfaction
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Coordinate with kitchen and barista team for timely order execution
- Maintain proper table setup, cleanliness, and ambiance of the café
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and punctuality
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members
- Ensure billing accuracy and support in cash handling when required
- Upsell menu items and drive revenue through effective guest engagement
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in café/restaurant service
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good knowledge of café operations, coffee basics, and service standards
- Presentable personality with customer-focused approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
