Job Summary:
Edimannickal Group is a prestigious name in the retail jewelry and optical industry. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Manager to oversee and streamline HR processes of our Jewellery division. The role demands a strategic thinker with a focus on operational excellence, strong administrative skills, and an in-depth understanding of HR systems. The HR Operations Manager will ensure smooth HR functions, effective recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll management, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations Management:
- Oversee and streamline HR operational activities.
- Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day HR functions such as attendance, employee onboarding, exit management, and payroll administration.
- Manage and coordinate HR-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal regulations.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to manage the recruitment process for various positions.
- Conduct interviews and support the hiring process from selection to onboarding.
- Facilitate the induction process for new employees to integrate them into the company culture.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and company procedures.
- Address and resolve employee concerns and issues while fostering a positive work environment.
- Organize employee engagement programs and initiatives to enhance workplace morale and productivity.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Ensure accurate processing of payroll for employees, working closely with the finance team.
- Administer benefits programs and provide support to employees regarding benefit-related queries.
- Ensure all payroll-related documentation is compliant with labor laws and company policies.
- Performance Management:
- Support the implementation of the performance appraisal process.
- Assist in setting performance goals and provide guidance to managers on employee evaluations.
- Monitor performance issues and recommend strategies for performance improvement.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry-specific regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records and databases in compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
- Keep track of key HR metrics such as absenteeism, turnover, and employee satisfaction.
- Training & Development:
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees to enhance their skills and career progression.
- Work with department heads to identify training needs and ensure they align with business goals.
- Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
- HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Generate and analyze HR reports to provide insights on staffing, turnover, recruitment trends, and employee engagement.
- Use data to recommend operational improvements and support decision-making in HR strategies.
- Technology & Systems Management:
- Oversee the use of HR software and systems to ensure the efficiency of HR operations.
- Coordinate with IT to ensure HR tools are functioning correctly and upgraded as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's / Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in Jewellery or any retail / manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple HR functions (payroll, recruitment, employee relations).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
