Job Title: HR Manager – Medical College
Job Summary:
The HR Manager plays a critical role in managing human resources functions for a medical college that includes a hospital and multiple academic institutions. This position supports institutional leadership by implementing HR strategies that foster a positive and productive work environment across healthcare and academic settings. The HR Manager will ensure effective staffing, promote employee engagement, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, academic standards, and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for hospital and academic staff across the group institutions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures aligned with the organization’s mission and regulatory requirements.
- Support employee training, professional development, and performance management systems.
- Handle employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, academic institution guidelines, and labor laws.
- Maintain HR records, documentation, and HRIS systems for all institutions within the group.
- Collaborate with department heads, hospital administration, and academic leadership to support workforce planning and staffing needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of HR experience.
- Mandatory experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage HR functions across multiple institutions and maintain strict confidentiality.
Work Scope:
The HR Manager will oversee HR operations for the hospital and five affiliated colleges under the medical college.
