URGENT HIRING – ARC WELDER (SHIPBUILDING)
Location: Chennai Shipyard
Industry: Shipbuilding / Heavy Fabrication
Position: Arc Welder
Experience: 1–5 Years (Shipyard experience preferred)
Qualification: ITI Welder or relevant trade
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform arc welding on ship structures such as hulls, decks, and frames
- Read and understand welding drawings and symbols
- Prepare and align metal components for welding
- Ensure strong, defect-free welds as per quality standards
- Inspect welds and carry out necessary repairs
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹26,000 per month (Based on experience)
Duty: 8–10 hours (Overtime available)
Requirements:
- Experience in arc welding (SMAW)
- Knowledge of shipbuilding or heavy fabrication work
- Ability to read basic drawings
- Physically fit and ready for site work
