Job Overview
Growth India is seeking a skilled and experienced Motherboard Repair Technician with strong hands-on expertise in Laptop/Desktop Motherboard Repair and Chip-Level Repair.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently diagnosing complex motherboard faults and performing component-level repairs with minimal supervision. The candidate should also have experience working with Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 laptop and desktop systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair laptop and desktop motherboards.
- Work on systems with Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors.
- Perform chip-level and component-level troubleshooting and repairs.
- Identify and resolve power, charging, display, booting, and short-circuit issues.
- Repair and replace ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, and other electronic components.
- Perform SMD soldering and desoldering with precision.
- Diagnose motherboard short circuits and power section faults.
- Perform BIOS programming, flashing, and troubleshooting.
- Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and DC power supplies effectively.
- Test repaired motherboards to ensure proper functionality and quality.
- Maintain records of repaired devices and pending repairs.
- Follow standard safety procedures and technical repair guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of practical experience in motherboard repair.
- Strong knowledge of laptop and desktop motherboard architecture.
- Experience repairing Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 based systems.
- Hands-on expertise in chip-level repair and troubleshooting.
- Excellent SMD soldering and desoldering skills.
- Good understanding of electronic circuits and components.
- Experience using multimeters, DC power supplies, and other diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of BIOS programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
