Safety Officer
Job Summary:
Amzer Infra Projects is looking for a dedicated and responsible Safety Officer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting workplace safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations at construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure all workers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for employees.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to identify workplace hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Safety certification will be an added advantage.
- Strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
