Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong experience in Source to Target Mapping (STM) and data transformation. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation by defining clear data mappings, ensuring accurate data flow from source systems to target data warehouses or applications.\

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements from stakeholders.
Create and maintain detailed Source to Target Mapping (STM) documents.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for ETL and data engineering teams.
Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of data mappings.
Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
Support data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, QA, and BI teams.
Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure deliverables meet business expectations.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Source to Target Mapping (STM).
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
Good understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Experience in creating functional and technical documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.).
Familiarity with data modeling concepts.
Exposure to BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics projects.
