Job Description – Guest Service Associate (GSA) Engineering Department (Electrical)
A GSA in the Electrical Engineering department maintains and repairs the electrical systems of the hotel to ensure continuous power supply and safety. Hotels such as Lemon Tree Hotels have electrical staff to manage lighting, equipment, and power systems.
Main Duties
Electrical Maintenance
Maintain and repair electrical equipment such as lights, switches, sockets, fans, and wiring.
Power Supply Monitoring
Check and maintain generators, UPS systems, and electrical panels.
Guest Room Electrical Work
Attend guest complaints related to lights, power sockets, AC power issues, or electrical faults.
Preventive Maintenance
Regularly inspect electrical systems to prevent breakdowns or power failures.
Safety Checks
Ensure electrical systems follow safety standards and prevent short circuits or fire hazards.
Support
Respond quickly during power failure or electrical emergencies.
Maintenance Records
Keep records of electrical repairs and report problems to the engineering supervisor.
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
Ability to use electrical tools and testing equipment
Problem-solving ability
Knowledge of electrical safety rules
Pay: ₹12,103.39 - ₹18,271.56 per month
