We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to join our cafe team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of continental cuisine, food preparation, presentation, kitchen hygiene, and inventory management. The candidate must be capable of preparing a wide range of continental dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes as per the cafe menu.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all food items.
Develop and suggest new continental menu items and seasonal specials. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications Minimum educational qualification: 12th Pass (Higher Secondary) or above. Professional culinary training/certification will be an added advantage. Experience Required Minimum 2 years of experience as a Continental Chef in a cafe, restaurant, hotel, or similar establishment. Hands-on experience in preparing a wide range of continental dishes, including breakfast items, salads, soups, sandwiches, pasta, burgers, steaks, grilled dishes, sauces, and desserts. Skills & Requirements Strong knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of food costing and inventory management. Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety. Language Requirements Must be able to speak and understand English and Hindi. Knowledge of the local language will be considered an added advantage. Salary Salary will be based on experience, skills, and performance.
