Job Summary
The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers, promoting banking products and services, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role focuses on identifying business opportunities, generating leads, and enhancing customer satisfaction to support the bank's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers for banking products such as savings accounts, current accounts, loans, fixed deposits, insurance, and other financial services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with individual and corporate clients.
- Generate leads through field visits, referrals, networking, and marketing activities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the bank.
- Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend suitable banking solutions.
- Cross-sell and upsell bank products to existing customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Participate in promotional campaigns, events, and financial awareness programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in banking, sales, marketing, or customer relationship management is preferred.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and financial markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and banking software systems.

Experience Required: 1–5 years (Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also apply)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
