Website Designer & Shopify Developer (Entry-Level / Fresher Friendly)About the Role
We are looking for a creative and passionate Website Designer & Shopify Developer to join our team. This role is open to freshers and self-taught individuals who have a strong interest in website design, Shopify development, and modern AI tools.
We care more about your skills, creativity, portfolio, and willingness to learn than your years of experience. If you have built personal projects, freelance projects, college projects, or passion projects that showcase your design ability, we'd love to see them.
Design is the most important aspect of this role. We are looking for someone who can create visually appealing, premium, and conversion-focused websites while also understanding the technical side of Shopify development.
What You'll Be DoingWebsite Design (Primary Focus)
- Design modern, clean, and visually appealing websites.
- Create website layouts, landing pages, and e-commerce store designs.
- Build mobile-responsive and user-friendly experiences.
- Create high-quality UI designs in Figma or similar tools.
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
Shopify Development
- Build and customize Shopify websites.
- Work with Shopify themes and Shopify Liquid.
- Create custom sections and page layouts.
- Configure products, collections, navigation, and store settings.
- Integrate Shopify apps and plugins.
AI-Assisted Workflow
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, and other modern tools to improve productivity.
- Write effective prompts for design and development tasks.
- Explore new AI tools and implement them in daily workflows.
Integrations & Technical Tasks
- Install and configure Shopify apps.
- Set up payment gateways and essential store functionalities.
- Implement analytics, tracking pixels, and marketing integrations when required.
- Ensure websites are optimized for performance and responsiveness.
Skills We're Looking ForMust-Have
- Strong eye for design and aesthetics.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design software.
- Basic understanding of Shopify and Shopify Liquid.
- Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Understanding of modern design trends.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Shopify projects.
- Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).
- Experience using AI tools in creative workflows.
- Familiarity with website builders and no-code tools.
- Understanding of branding and visual identity systems.
