About the Role
Jayant Bothra and Associates is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in statutory audits, taxation, GST compliance, TDS, and accounting. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct statutory, tax, and internal audits for clients.
- Analyze financial statements and prepare audit reports.
- Handle GST return filing, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Manage TDS deductions, payments, and quarterly return filings.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accuracy.
- Prepare Monthly MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Assist in drafting replies to tax notices and handling taxation litigation matters.
- Ensure compliance with the latest GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act regulations.
- Coordinate with clients for data collection and timely completion of assignments.
- Work closely with senior auditors and partners on audit engagements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Accounting Standards
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of statutory and tax audit procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Eligibility
- Qualification: B.Com / CA (Inter)
- Experience: 3–4 years in a CA firm or a similar accounting/audit role
