Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience in electrical installations, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and electrical equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Install and maintain circuit breakers, distribution boards, and control panels.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and contractors when required.
- Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrician or a related electrical trade.
- Valid electrical license/certification (where applicable).
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Freshers with appropriate qualifications may also apply.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Good understanding of electrical safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
- Physically fit to perform maintenance tasks.
