Job Summary
We are seeking a Proposal Engineer with relevant experience in process instrumentation, specifically handling pressure and temperature instruments. The role involves preparing accurate techno-commercial proposals, understanding client requirements, and supporting the sales team with competitive solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals based on RFQs and client specifications
- Evaluate requirements and suggest suitable pressure & temperature instruments
- Coordinate with internal teams for costing, technical inputs, and delivery feasibility
- Review tender documents, datasheets, and specifications
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals
- Support the sales team with follow-ups and technical clarifications
- Maintain records of proposals, costing data, and vendor quotations
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in process instrumentation
- Strong knowledge of pressure gauges, temperature gauges, RTDs, thermocouples, transmitters
- Experience in handling RFQs and tender documentation
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Preferred Profile
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Chemical, or EPC industries
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
