Job Title: Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting activities, statutory compliance, client follow-ups, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally ERP, GST and TDS filings, invoicing, quotation preparation, and receivables management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries in Tally ERP.
- Record daily transactions, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain ledgers.
GST & TDS Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns within prescribed timelines.
- Calculate, deduct, and file TDS returns as per statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper records of GST and TDS-related documents.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants whenever required.
Billing & Documentation
- Prepare quotations, pro forma invoices, tax invoices, and other commercial documents.
- Generate and maintain client bills and payment records.
- Ensure timely issuance of invoices and follow up on pending payments.
Client Follow-Up & Receivables
- Regularly follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments.
- Maintain accounts receivable records and ageing reports.
- Coordinate with clients regarding invoices, payment confirmations, and account statements.
Expense Management
- Maintain records of all company expenses.
- Verify expense bills and supporting documents.
- Prepare monthly expense reports and assist management in cost tracking.
Administrative Support
- Maintain proper filing of financial and accounting documents.
- Assist management with financial reports and MIS requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP.
- Good understanding of GST and TDS regulations and filing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to follow up professionally with clients.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
