JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR 2D DRAFTSPERSON
1. Drafting and Design:
- Produce accurate 2D drawings, blueprints, and plans based on project requirements and
specifications.
- Interpret and translate rough sketches, drawings, and specifications into detailed technical
drawings.
- Collaborate with designers to understand project objectives and requirements.
2. CAD Software Operation:
- Utilize CAD software proficiently to create, modify, and finalize technical drawings.
- Manage files and systematically organize drawings as per the folder structure for easy retrieval
and reference.
3. Day to Day Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Actively work towards achieving targets set by the management.
- Implement and improve operational processes to enhance productivity.
- Monitor project timelines ensure successful project delivery.
- Delegation of tasks to Junior 2D Draftspersons based on their bandwidth and supervise the tasks
assigned to them.
- Develop and Adhere to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each task.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve
design issues.
- Participate in design review meetings and contribute constructively to the design process.
- Maintain open communication channels to ensure alignment with client expectations and project
goals.
5. Quality Control:
- Ensure the highest standards of quality in 3D visuals.
- Provide support in the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and presentations as needed.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards with lower
margins of errors.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve design issues and optimize drawing layouts.
- Ensure compliance with project schedules and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.6. Problem Solving:
- Address challenges and resolve conflicts within the team or with clients.
- Implement effective problem-solving strategies to overcome obstacles.
- 7. Training & Mentorship:
- Provide timely trainings, guidance and mentorship to Jr. 3D Visualizers
- Be a team player, have great people skills, be wildly creative and push the boundaries with a can-do
- attitude!
- 8. Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively as
- per the turnaround time advised by the management.
- Keep aware of industry trends, techniques, and software updates to maintain a competitive edge.
- 9. Workplace Etiquettes & Culture:
- Follow workplace policies and regulations, which include punctuality, code of conduct etc.
- Maintaining a positive work atmosphere for themselves and the peers.
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
