The Project MEP Asst. Manager will be a key position within the projects team of the company . This professional will be responsible for the design coordination and execution of all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems for the projects being developed by the company.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university
- 5-7 years of experience of working on mass housing /township or infrastructure projects Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Good liaising and influencing skills, dynamic and result oriented professional Knowledge of costing and budgeting for the MEP function.
- Should be aware of new innovations and technological developments in the field.
- Ability and willingness to adopt new ideas and technology to the company’s projects.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide design guidelines to the consultants in the form of Design Brief.
- Review and evaluate the DBR (Design Basis Report) received from the design consultants and obtain internal sign-offs from all concerned stakeholders.
- Review the MEP Drawings and Technical Data sheets submitted taking approval from internal stakeholders and consultants.
- Estimating the loads, capacities and infrastructure required for the project under development.
- Liaise with the concerned authorities to receive infrastructure connectivity to the project for water and electricity. Liaise with relevant authorities for permission, testing and commissioning and NOC for Fire, Lift, etc.
- Monitoring site construction activities for HVAC, Fire Fighting, Electrical Work, STP, WTP, lifts, special services to ensure completion of project within the time and cost parameters and with optimum and effective resource utilization.
- Co-ordinate with all the internal departments, contractors, consultants to resolve Engineering issues and get the co-ordinated drawings released from the Architects for the execution of the Project Reviewing and monitoring of all site activities and costs being expended on the project.
- Maintain a schedule of submissions and responses for approvals, inspections, variations, etc.
- Reconciliation of materials and works executed, certification of payments to MEP contractors and vendors and recording / monitoring of all MEP works Check and verify that all working drawings received from consultants for accuracy are comprehensive and discussed with the Project Manager and other stake holders for the best implementation and installation of services.
- Analyze new deals and projects with respect to MEP inputs to evaluate feasibility.
- Snagging and testing all MEP systems after construction, before taking handover from the contractor.
Pay: Up to ₹75,000.00 per month
