Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the implementation of the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to align with business process design and application requirements, ensuring that the software meets the needs of the organization effectively and efficiently. You will collaborate with various teams to understand requirements and contribute to the overall success of the project. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software configuration issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Job Control Language (JCL). - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with debugging and performance tuning of mainframe applications. - Familiarity with database management systems and data manipulation. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
