Role Summary
The Team Captain is responsible for leading daily café operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining team coordination, and supporting smooth operational flow. This role acts as the bridge between café staff and management while creating a positive guest experience and high-performing work environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
- Lead and supervise café staff during shifts.
- Assign duties and ensure smooth workflow across service, billing, and kitchen coordination.
- Motivate team members and maintain a positive work culture.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees.
Customer Experience
- Ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and professional service.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
Operations Management
- Oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and café SOPs.
- Coordinate with kitchen/barista teams for efficient service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
