We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Configure email clients, printers, scanners, and other IT devices.
- Monitor and maintain IT assets and inventory records.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty and repair services.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system updates.
- Support basic networking activities, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity troubleshooting.
- Ensure timely closure of support tickets and user issues.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 Operating Systems.
- Experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Understanding of printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, ECE, or Any graduate
