About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Shopping Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our shopping centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth facility operations, maintaining high standards of customer experience, coordinating with tenants and vendors, and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence across the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily morning walkthroughs to inspect common areas, entrances, parking areas, restrooms, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness.
- Lead daily briefings with Operations, Housekeeping, Security, and Maintenance teams.
- Ensure elevators, escalators, lighting, HVAC systems, and other essential facilities are fully operational before opening hours.
- Build strong relationships with tenants by addressing operational concerns, maintenance requirements, and marketing support.
- Manage external vendors, including housekeeping, landscaping, waste management, pest control, and maintenance contractors.
- Review customer feedback and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement in customer experience.
- Oversee CAM (Common Area Maintenance) collections and coordinate timely bank deposits.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, health & safety standards, statutory requirements, and mall operating procedures.
- Monitor crowd movement and ensure smooth customer flow during peak business hours.
- Coordinate with the Security team to ensure effective closing procedures and perimeter security.
- Prepare and submit daily operational, maintenance, and incident reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in Shopping Centres, Retail Operations, Hospitality, Facility Management, or Commercial Property Management.
- Experience in managing malls, commercial complexes, or mixed-use developments will be preferred.
