Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive / Sales Executive to join our growing team in the Furniture and Office Furnishing industry.
The role involves lead generation, cold calling, networking with architects and interior designers, client meetings, and business development activities to generate new sales opportunities.
This is a great opportunity for freshers and early-career professionals who want to build a career in sales, business development, and the interior furnishing industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and develop a database of Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Contractors, and Project Management Consultants (PMCs).
- Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Identify upcoming interior design and construction projects.
Client Meetings & Sales Development:
- Schedule meetings with architects, interior designers, and key decision makers.
- Present company furniture, office furnishing solutions, and services.
- Pitch products for project specifications and approvals.
Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, and industry influencers.
- Generate project inquiries and new business opportunities.
- Expand company presence in the furniture and interior furnishing market.
Sales Process Management:
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.
- Conduct site visits to understand project requirements.
- Follow up consistently with prospects until project inquiries are generated.
CRM & Reporting:
- Maintain all lead details and follow-ups in CRM and Excel sheets.
- Track daily sales activities and client interactions.
- Provide updates on sales pipeline and follow-up status.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Provide after-sales support and client servicing.
- Collect customer and architect feedback for improvement.
Brand Promotion & Networking:
- Arrange showroom and factory visits for architects and designers.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and product demonstrations.
- Promote company products, projects, and brand presence.
Skills & Requirements:
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year experience in Sales / Business Development / Inside Sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with architects, designers, and clients.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated with strong presentation and networking skills.
- Fluency in Hindi and English is mandatory.
