As a Specialist, Financial Operations within the Contracts Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our contractual processes. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in contract review processes, meeting SLAs and TAT with a strong focus on internal controls and stakeholder management, you will be responsible for managing agreement reviews, primarily focussing on High Profile Authors (HPAs) utilizing IP management tools. Your core responsibility will involve effective contract and product administration and suspense management Acting as a liaison between the team and senior management, you'll identify adverse agreement clauses and ensure data accuracy and foster collaborative leadership within the team. Your strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
Agreement Analysis, Archival and Approval
Approve contract and financial data into the royalty system, verifying information provided by associates and senior associates to maintain data accuracy and operational Standards across operational regions.
Ensuring reduction of suspense accounts for accurate royalties payout based on agreements
Analyze pre-drafted and executed agreements, particularly those involving High Profile authors and complex terms, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Ensure accurate indexing of paperwork by associates to facilitate easy retrieval and reference.
Independently tackle issues within the rights and royalties domain, supporting decision-making using extensive knowledge and experience in contract review processes.
Following and ensuring SLA and Controls:
Ensure TAT and SLA maintenance on deals processed by associates
Process and approve agreements prioritizing efficiency while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Organize tasks and prioritize assignments based on changing requirements, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to timelines.
Ensure adherence to SOP and established controls. Evaluate risks associated with contract agreements and mitigate operational risks by utilizing past experiences and industry knowledge.
Data Maintenance:
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across operational regions to enable a dashboard ready data
Oversee the governance of data trackers.
Follow data retention and privacy policies in accordance with regulatory requirements and client agreements.
Query Addressal and Mentorship
Assist associates/senior associates and Portfolio teams with inquiries related to agreements.
Manage queries independently and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor associates, driving team performance.
Influence team performance by adapting to changing circumstances and aligning strategies with evolving needs and goals.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating within specified boundaries and building relationships across departments to support successful contract management.
Foster collaboration within the Contracts Team and wider rights and royalties department.
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
3 Years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the rights and royalty's domain.
Desired Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to autonomously address issues and support decision-making.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Demonstrates strong communication skills, effectively presenting issues and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Knowledge of data integrity practices and experience in ensuring data accuracy in contractual processes.
Proficiency in IP management tools such as IPM, Oracle, Alfresco, Microsoft Office, ServiceNow and Smartsheet.
Demonstrates the ability to independently manage projects and consistently drive results
