Job description: Video Editor
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Cut-Edit-Merge raw video files and images to create a desired output in a proper length and format, creates Motion Graphics and completes colour corrections.
- Mixes and Masters audio.
- One should be aware with following types of videos:2D Animation, Motion Graphics, Whiteboard Animation (Doodle).
- Should be proficient using software like Adobe, Aftereffects, Premier Pro. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
- Coordinate with Team and Clients from production to post-production process (Scripting-Storyboarding-Animation-Rendering).
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industries’ best practices to maximize efficiency.
- You should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.
- Should be comfortable working on readily available templates.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, cinematography field or related certification courses.
- Proven 1 year work experience as a Video Editor.
- Demonstrable video editing ability with attractive showreel.
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.
Key Result Areas for the Role:
- Inputting graphics and sound to enhance the Video.
- Digitally slicing video and synchronizing them into a video output.
- Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage.
- Skilled in both Graphics Design and Video Editing is an advantage
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bhandup West, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
