Position: Merchandiser (Apparel & Scarves)

Salary: 4.20 LPA – 5.00 LPA (Depending on the candidate’s experience and suitability)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end
merchandising process for our apparel and scarves business. The ideal candidate will have strong
experience in the garment or textile export industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to
coordinate effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of orders while
maintaining the highest quality standards.
Experience with European or other international buyers will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete order lifecycle from enquiry to shipment.
Coordinate with buyers regarding product development, order status, approvals, and customer
queries.
Prepare product costings and ensure pricing aligns with company margins and commercial
objectives.
Review buyer requirements and identify potential commercial or production risks before order
confirmation.
Coordinate sampling activities and ensure timely sample submissions.
Liaise with production teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of orders.
Monitor production schedules and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
Conduct regular quality follow-ups to ensure products meet buyer specifications and company
standards.
Coordinate shipment planning and ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and completed
on time.
Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) calendars and track critical milestones.
Manage multiple buyers, product categories, and production schedules simultaneously.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, specifications, packing instructions, and order
documentation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of customer
requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textile, Apparel, Business, or a related field (preferred).
3–8 years of relevant experience in apparel, scarves, textile manufacturing, or export
merchandising.
Experience working with European or international buyers is highly preferred.
