Job Summary
Anil Engineering Works is looking for an experienced Site Incharge to lead and manage the execution of large-diameter industrial pipeline projects at JSW Mahanadi Power Plant, Akaltara. The candidate should have extensive experience in Power Plants, Steel Plants, and other heavy industrial projects, with a proven track record of handling complete pipeline construction activities from mobilization to commissioning.
Mandatory Experience
The candidate must have hands-on experience in:
- Power Plant and Steel Plant pipeline projects.
- Large diameter pipelines up to 3500 mm.
- Cooling Tower Pipeline Works.
- Raw Water Pipeline Systems.
- Fire Water / Fire Fighting Pipeline Networks.
- Boiler Water & Utility Piping.
- Underground and Above Ground Pipeline Installation.
- Carbon Steel (CS), Mild Steel (MS), Ductile Iron (DI), HDPE, and RCC pipeline works.
- Complete pipeline execution from excavation to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall execution and supervision of site activities.
- Manage daily work planning and achieve project milestones.
- Coordinate with the Client, QA/QC, Safety Team, and Subcontractors.
- Supervise excavation, trench preparation, sand bedding, pipeline laying, alignment, fit-up, welding, NDT, blasting, painting, wrapping coating, hydro testing, flushing, backfilling, and commissioning.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, WPS, ITPs, and project procedures.
- Monitor manpower, machinery, equipment, and material utilization.
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), weekly progress reports, and productivity reports.
- Verify measurements for client billing and subcontractor bills.
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, and consumables at site.
- Coordinate inspections with the client and ensure timely clearance of inspection requests.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues to avoid delays.
- Maintain project documentation, measurement records, and site registers.
- Ensure project completion within schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Leadership Skills
- Ability to manage a 50+ workforce at the site.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience in handling multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Additional certifications in Industrial Construction or Project Management will be an added advantage.
