Job Description:
- Understanding on Manufacturing processes Molding, Stamping, Machining, Plating etc
- Day to day planning for CNC, VMC, wire cutting machine, EDM die sinking manufacturing processes.
- Monitoring of tools development line and ensuring on time delivery
- Responsible for tool manufacturing for NPD and developments for Proto Typing new tooling (including gauges, fixtures)
- Designing of Progressive Press Tools, Deep Draw
- Attending Tools trials and responsible for Tools qualification run and Tool Handover to customers.
- Planning of tool corrections after trial.
- Responsible for handling Tool modification
- Train and guide Juniors on various design functions
- Implementing quality circle, Kaizen, 5S, TPM activity on floor
- Work on Customer samples and initial part detailing.
- DFMEA Activities and Design review with Tooling Teams
- Software knowledge and Drawing generation, review and finalization
- Review & approve Design change requests of Child parts for existing products
Technical requirements:
- Knowledge of Previous work experience (Process knowledge for previous employer)
- Experienced in Sheet Metal Tooling Designing with knowledge of strip layout.
- Experienced in Plastic Injection Mould Designing for Multi-cavity 3 plate moulds using different Gate types/runner layout
- Experienced in design software like Pro-E and Solidworks.
- Ability to design / draft a child part component or an assembled product
- Working knowledge of machining process: Conventional – Lathe, Milling, Grinding, Drilling, Hexa. Non-Conventional – EDM, EDM Drilling, VMC/CNC, Wirecut
- Knowledge of Instruments: Vernier Calliper, Micrometer, Thread and Ring gauge.
- Knowledge of PokaYoke and Kaizen.
- Knowledge of material properties like specific density. Machine & material selection based on tonnage, clamping etc.
Experience: 8-10 years of experience.
Qualification: Diploma in Tool & Die

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
