Job Overview
We are hiring for our reputed client based in Pune for the position of Mechanical Design Engineer – Trainee. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and candidates with experience in Production or Quality who are looking to build a career in Automotive Design & Product Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in 3D modeling and drafting under senior engineers
- Work on automotive plastic components and trims
- Support activities related to Reverse Engineering, GD&T, and DFMEA
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project execution
- Learn and apply industry-standard design practices and tools
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Passed out in 2020 or later
- Candidates from Production / Quality background can also apply
- Strong interest in automotive design domain
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings
- Understanding of GD&T concepts
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in design field
