Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager (GM) to lead the overall operations of our Automotive Service Center. The GM will be responsible for profitability, customer satisfaction, team leadership, compliance, and operational excellence across all departments including workshop, spare parts, body shop, and front office.
+Key Responsibilities
- Business & Financial Performance
- Drive revenue growth, cost control, and overall profitability
- Prepare and monitor monthly budgets, MIS reports, and KPIs
- Achieve targets for service revenue, parts sales, labor utilization, and margins
- Analyze financial statements and implement corrective actions
- Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of workshop, parts, and body shop
- Ensure optimal capacity utilization and productivity
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OEM guidelines
- Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and job completion quality
- Team Leadership & HR
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff
- Ensure discipline, performance management, and training
- Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings
- Build a high-performance, customer-focused culture
- Customer Experience
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
- Resolve escalated customer complaints effectively
- Monitor CSI/NPS scores and implement improvements
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and fleet clients
- Spare Parts & Inventory Control
- Ensure availability of fast-moving parts
- Optimize inventory levels and reduce obsolescence
- Monitor parts revenue, stock turns, and shrinkage
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory regulations
- Maintain OEM audit readiness and quality benchmarks
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Business Development
- Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Build partnerships with insurance companies, corporates, and fleet operators
- Identify new revenue streams (AMC, quick service, accessories, etc.)
Ideal Candidate: A strategic leader who can run the service center like a profit-driven business unit while delivering exceptional customer experience.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
