We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer / QA Lead to take ownership of software quality and project delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright automation, modern AI-assisted testing approaches, CI/CD processes, and release management.
This role requires a quality-driven professional who can ensure timely project delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive automation initiatives across multiple projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test cases for Web, API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
- Work closely with developers, project managers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and release activities.
- Track, report, and manage defects through closure.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive preventive quality measures.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with the expected quality standards.
- Provide regular quality and delivery status updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices.
- Identify delivery risks and proactively drive resolution.
Required Skills
QA & Automation
- 2-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation.
- Experience in UI, API, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
- Strong understanding of test planning, test strategy, and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
AI-Powered Testing
- Understanding of AI-assisted testing tools and workflows.
- Experience with Playwright MCP or similar AI-driven testing approaches.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI tools for test generation and debugging.
- Understanding of LLM-based testing concepts is a plus.
DevOps & CI/CD
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Experience integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of release management and deployment validation.
