Job Description – CNC Trainer
Position: CNC Trainer/Technical Training
Location: Pune (Pimpri)
Role Summary
The CNC Trainer is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training on CNC machining to students, apprentices, and entry-level professionals. The trainer will develop technical competency through classroom instruction, machine demonstrations, practical exercises, and assessments while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training on CNC turning and VMC/milling operations (Semiens and Fanuc control).
- Teach CNC programming, including G-code and M-code fundamentals.
- Demonstrate machine setup, tooling selection, work holding, and machine operation.
- Train learners on engineering drawings, tolerances, and precision measurements.
- Conduct practical sessions using CNC machines and simulation software.
- Evaluate trainee performance through written and practical assessments.
- Ensure compliance with workshop safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and assessment reports.
- Support continuous improvement of training programs based on industry requirements.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining or manufacturing.
- Experience operating CNC turning and milling machines.
- Prior training or teaching experience is preferred.
