We are seeking a skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of modern web development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack
- Design and implement robust RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js
- Manage and optimize databases using MongoDB
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js
- Good understanding of MongoDB and database schema design
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Redux, TypeScript, or Next.js
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Firebase
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
