Job Description:
- HSE Officer shall possess a recognized degree or diploma with any industrial safety course with min 5 years practical experience in construction work environment and should possess requisite skills to deal with construction safety & fire related day-to-day issues.
- To keep track of site safety observation/ report and submit to ATL
- Shall be responsible for the periodic testing of Tools & Equipment’s and Pressure Vessels as per applicable codes and maintain the registers.
- Carry out safety inspection of Work Area, Work Method and other tools and equipment.
- Facilitate HIRA and Aspect/Impact Study in the area and ensure control measures.
- Highlight the requirements of safety, incidents, site observations through Toolbox / other meetings
- Maintain record and conduct investigation of all incident/dangerous occurrences & recommend appropriate safety measures.
- Advice & co-ordinate for implementation of HSE permit systems and work procedures.
- Convene HSE meeting & minute the proceeding for circulation & follow-up action
- Participate in ATL HSE Meetings and provide solutions to the issues, safety concerns raised.
- Plan procurement of PPE & Safety devices and inspect their healthiness.
- Report to ATL on all matters pertaining to status of safety and promotional programmes at site level.
- Encourage raising Near Miss Report on safety along with, improvement initiatives on safety
- Facilitate administration of First Aid
- Facilitate screening of workmen and safety induction.
- Conduct fire Drill and facilitate emergency preparedness
- Design campaigns, competitions & other special programs to promote safety in the workplace
- Notify non-conformance to safety norms observed during site visits / site inspections.
- Recommend to Project Manager/ Site Supervisor, immediate discontinuance of work until rectification, of such situations warranting immediate action in view of imminent danger to life or property or environment
- To decline acceptance of such PPE / safety equipment/Tools and Equipment that do not conform to specified requirements.
- Prepare and submit the HSE performance report, MIS, Non-Compliance report, Inspection reports, Audit reports, etc., within the timeline.
- Communicate the site safety rules, responsibilities to employees and get sign off the HSE declaration form and submit to ATL HSE Dept.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
