Under the women’s economic empowerment programs, PCI enables dignified livelihood opportunities for marginalized women across India. PCI is launching an initiative to support women in Bengaluru to join the gig economy as delivery partners—opening flexible, safe, and sustainable income opportunities.
Role Overview
The Mobilizer will play a critical role in identifying, motivating, and onboarding women across Bengaluru to become two-wheeler delivery partners. This is a high-engagement, field-intensive role requiring strong interpersonal skills, persistence, and comfort in community environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Outreach & Mobilization
- Conduct field visits across assigned areas in Bengaluru to connect with women seeking livelihood opportunities.
- Build relationships with community groups, self-help groups (SHGs), NGOs, ward leaders, and informal networks to generate leads.
- Organize small community meetings, orientation sessions, and door-to-door outreach.
2. Candidate Identification & Counselling
- Identify women who meet eligibility criteria (age, phone, documents, vehicle access or willingness to rent/lease).
- Provide clear information about the food-delivery model, earning potential, safety features, and work flexibility.
- Support women in making informed decisions by addressing concerns and building confidence.
3. Onboarding & Documentation Support
- Assist women with onboarding steps, documentation, app setup, and account activation.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for seamless onboarding and troubleshooting.
- Track progress of each candidate until they complete the minimum number of deliveries.
4. Monitoring & Follow-up
- Maintain detailed daily records of leads, orientations, onboarding status, and completion of deliveries.
- Follow up regularly with onboarded women to ensure they are active and supported in reaching the delivery target.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit weekly progress reports to PCI India’s project team.
- Participate in team meetings, share field insights, and highlight challenges for quick resolution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- Minimum 12th pass; graduates preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, field outreach, sales, microfinance, or social sector roles.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across Bengaluru.
- Comfortable interacting with women from diverse community backgrounds.
- Basic smartphone literacy for app-based processes and data updates.
- Ability to work independently with result orientation.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with women’s collectives, SHGs, or livelihood programs.
- Candidates familiar with gig-economy platforms will have an edge.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
