Job Summary
Hindustan Gold Industries is looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of plant machinery through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining industrial equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and minimizing machine downtime in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and restore equipment to operational condition.
- Maintain pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, compressors, agitators, and other rotating equipment.
- Carry out installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery.
- Inspect equipment and recommend repairs or replacements to improve reliability.
- Monitor machine performance and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, Production, and Utility teams during maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, equipment history, and spare parts consumption.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and housekeeping practices.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance within a manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, rotating equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment independently.
- Good understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
