Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Terraform, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Python, Shell Scripting, GCP Networking, IAM, Cloud Security, and DevOps Automation.
The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure while driving automation, deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Configure and manage GCP Networking, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), IAM, firewall rules, and security policies.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell Scripting.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and Kubernetes clusters for performance, availability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application issues.
- Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to streamline software delivery.
- Optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Support cloud migration, platform modernization, and automation initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience managing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters.
- Experience configuring GCP Networking, IAM, firewall rules, and security policies.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting for automation.
- Experience implementing cloud security and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
