Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with ingredient preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and fruits.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing equipment after each service.
- Help with inventory tasks like unloading deliveries, organizing storage areas, and restocking supplies as needed.
Additional Duties
- Support basic cooking tasks such as stirring sauces, heating soups, and preparing simple dishes under supervision.
- Follow food safety standards, dispose of waste properly, and report any shortages or spoilage to the kitchen manager.
- Clear and clean refrigerators, freezers, and garbage areas daily to uphold hygiene protocols.
