Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop, review, and enhance high-quality academic content. The ideal candidate will possess deep subject knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for diverse learners. The role involves content creation, assessment design, curriculum alignment, quality assurance, and collaboration with academic teams. Similar SME roles commonly involve developing mathematics content, assessments, solutions, and instructional materials while ensuring accuracy and curriculum alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and validate Mathematics content for school, competitive exam, and academic programs.
- Create question banks, assessments, worksheets, assignments, and answer keys.
- Prepare detailed, step-by-step solutions and explanations.
- Ensure content accuracy, conceptual clarity, and alignment with curriculum standards.
- Design and review mock tests, practice exercises, and evaluation materials.
- Conduct quality checks and provide feedback for content improvement.
- Collaborate with content writers, instructional designers, and academic teams.
- Analyze learner performance trends and recommend content enhancements.
- Stay updated with educational trends, curriculum changes, and best practices in Mathematics education.
- Support academic projects, training initiatives, and content strategy discussions.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, and Higher Mathematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in content development, curriculum design, or academic publishing.
- Ability to create learner-friendly explanations and solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and educational technology tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to content quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EdTech, Publishing, Coaching Institutes, or K-12/Higher Education sectors.
- Prior experience in assessment creation and academic content review.
- Familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, JEE, NEET, Olympiads, or international curricula.
- Experience leading academic teams or SME projects.
