Position: Nursing Head
Department: Nursing – Rehabilitation

Reporting To: Centre Head / Medical Director
Job Summary
The Nursing Head will be responsible for leading and managing the nursing team in the rehabilitation centre, ensuring high-quality patient care, effective nursing operations, patient safety, and compliance with clinical and hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and manage the nursing team and daily nursing operations.
- Ensure quality and compassionate nursing care for rehabilitation patients.
- Prepare and manage nursing duty rosters, shift planning, and manpower requirements.
- Monitor patient care, medication administration, vital signs, documentation, and clinical procedures.
- Ensure proper implementation of nursing protocols, SOPs, infection control, and patient safety practices.
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, dietitians, and other rehabilitation professionals for holistic patient care.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor the clinical condition and progress of patients.
- Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation and maintenance of patient records.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, attendance, discipline, and productivity.
- Identify training and development needs and conduct regular training sessions for nursing staff.
- Handle patient and attendant concerns related to nursing services and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover between shifts.
- Monitor availability and proper usage of medicines, consumables, and nursing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, accreditation, infection-control, and internal hospital standards.
- Investigate and report clinical incidents, medication errors, falls, and other patient-safety events.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation activities.
- Maintain effective communication between the nursing team and other departments.
- Support emergency management and ensure staff are prepared to respond to clinical emergencies.
- Prepare nursing reports and submit regular updates to management.

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: B.Sc Nursing.
- Experience: 6–10 years of nursing experience, with relevant experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Experience in rehabilitation, critical care, geriatric care, or long-term patient care will be preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
